Nursery
Children up to 3 years old
Children are an important part of the community here at First Baptist. Because they are a “heritage of the Lord” and a “reward” from Him (Psalm 127:3), children are to be treasured. During every service, we happily provide nursery care for infants and children up to three years old. Three different nurseries, separated by age and development and staffed by caring workers, allow for a comfortable, safe place for your child to sleep, eat, or play during the service.
Junior Church
Children 4 - 4th grade
Jesus set the example for loving children when He blessed them in Matthew 19, saying, “Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Just as Jesus placed a significant value on children, we desire to impact the lives of this special age group. It is a joy to see children in Junior Church trust Jesus as their Savior and grow in their faith.
During the Sunday morning worship service, our four and five year olds listen to Bible and missionary stories, sing, and learn about their Creator God. First- through fourth-grade children meet separately to review what they’ve learned from previous weeks and to learn new challenges from the Bible. They also have a time to sing and work on memory verses.
